If you're looking for breathtaking nature views just outside of Atlanta, the Chattahoochee River Trails are perfect for you. The trails here are well marked and there's a detailed map at each marker. The East Palisades Trail is 3.3 miles long and offers gorgeous views of the river. There's even a small bamboo forest. Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell Mill takes you by a historic paper mill and spillway waterfall. This trail is about 3.4 miles long. The best part about the trails here is they're all pet-friendly. So, don't forget to bring your furry friend along for the adventure.
